How to Make Crispy Crunchy Potato Chips in the Microwave
Hello and welcome to In the Kitchen with Matt,I am your host, Matt Taylor. Today I am going
to teach you, how to make crispy, crunchypotato chips in the microwave. What? Yes,
in the microwave. First we need ingredients,potatoes. Okay, what we are going to do is
wash the potato. Next what we want to do isyou want cut the potatoes into really thin
slices, for this I am going to use a mandolin.Now you want to grab a plate and spray it
with cooking spray. Next we want to lay outthe potatoes like this, add a little bit of
salt. Next we microwave them on hi for 2.5to 3 minutes. When they look like this, they
are ready. And now for the breakdown, approximatetime to make these, 4 to 5 minutes per potato.
I made 2 potatoes. Approximate cost about20 cents or 10 cents per potato. Now this
made the same amount, as you would find inprobably 2 of those small bags of potato chips,
which cost about 50 cents a piece. So thatmakes it a dollar, this is about, what, one
fifth as it would cost to buy them in thestore. They don’t taste the same that is
for sure; I certainly will still buy chipsat the store, however these are simple and
easy to make at home and if you have someextra potatoes, and you don’t know what
to do with them make some chips, they tastegreat, and they are super crunchy. You don’t
believe me? Let’s give it at try? Mmm, didyou hear it? No? Try it again. Hear it that
time? No? All right, one more time. Mmm mmmmm. These taste great, they are easy to make,
